So far, the volunteers I’ve met online seem very nice. A lot of them are old Bernie people. Bernie was not my cup of tea, but at least he was willing to put himself out there and buck the party line. What he was right about was the military machine that has grown beyond the most vivid nightmares of Dwight Eisenhower. It should be obvious to everybody by now, even McConnell Republicans and Biden Democrats, that this machine threatens the existence of every country on earth. Nobody, including and especially our own citizenry, is safe from the intrusion of this imperial power that erodes our precious constitution with every new foreign incursion. The two parties offer no solution to this problem. They are indeed the cause of the problem. A vote for a real independent candidate is at this point the only viable political solution to the military threat of our own armed forces and the defense contractors that build their weaponry on the backs of the bankrupt taxpayer.
